Michelle Barkemeyer receives the Jacquelin Medina Visionary Leadership Award for her work in the field of Gifted Education

Congratulations to Michelle Barkemeyer, our Uncompahgre Boces Gifted Education Coordinator, for receiving the Jacquelin Medina Visionary Leadership Award for her work in the field of Gifted Education. Michelle was recognized in October at the annual Colorado Association for Gifted Children (CAGT) conference. In addition to her contributions to her BOCES school districts and the West Central Region Gifted Education Team, Michelle’s leadership strengths are present in her valuable insights to the Gifted Education State Advisory Committee (GE-SAC) and the state Gifted Education BOCES Team. Thank you, Michelle, for maintaining a vision of excellence for gifted students in all parts of the state!
